Recent Financial Problems- BigStore and Quantex Computer Print E-mail

Online store Bigstore closed its door complete and Quantex Computer could be in trouble too BigStore.com is closing its doors shortly after opening. The companies founder, Robert McNulty is now facing lawsuits and many angry customers. The company had a loss-leader strategy where they had prices marked below cost in order to gain customers.

Recent discussions on Cnet show that the financial problems go back a while. I personally tried ordering something from them back in May and after they didn't ship it out within 48hours, I called and canceled the order and didn't loose anything. More recent customers haven't been so fortunate and may never see their money again. Their website http://www.thebigstore.com is no longer active.
