Review of Top Stock Screening Sites
Several years ago I used stockscreener.com which was then free. It was better than anything else out there and still is today. Now it is a division of Hoovers and it seems that they have killed the service. So now we will look for alternatives.
Many of the sites I have seen offer stock screener tools but many are pre-selected already such as Large Cap Growth, Small Company Growth, Income, and other groups. Very little customization is allowed. The sites reviewed here offer a greater degree of customization.
Many online brokerages now offer stock screening services for free for their customers.
